How does Invisalign® treatment work?
Invisalign® works by using a sequence of custom clear aligners that slowly move your teeth into their planned positions, with each set worn for about 1–2 weeks before switching.
Is Invisalign® just as effective as traditional braces?
Yes, Invisalign® is effective for most mild to moderate alignment concerns. More advanced cases may need traditional braces, but Invisalign® treats many orthodontic needs.
How long does treatment usually take?
Treatment usually takes 6–18 months depending on your situation, and wearing aligners consistently for 20–22 hours a day helps keep progress on schedule.
Can I eat and drink while wearing Invisalign®?
You’ll take out your aligners when eating or drinking anything besides water, allowing you to enjoy your favorite foods without limits.
Will Invisalign® change the way I speak?
Some patients experience a brief adjustment period, but most quickly adapt and return to normal speech within a few days of wearing aligners.
