Have questions? You’ve come to the right place
How often should I go to the dentist?
Most patients benefit from dental checkups every six months. Catching cavities or gum concerns early helps keep care simpler and more affordable, though visit frequency may be adjusted based on your individual oral health.
How frequently should I be brushing my teeth?
The ADA advises brushing your teeth a minimum of two times daily and waiting roughly 30 minutes after acidic foods or drinks to help safeguard your enamel.
Electric or Manual Toothbrush: Which Option Is Right for You?
When used correctly, both options work well, though research often shows electric toothbrushes are more effective at reducing plaque. Brands such as Sonicare and Oral-B include features designed to clean hard-to-reach areas and improve daily brushing.
When is the right time for my child’s first dental visit?
We recommend scheduling a child’s first dental visit around age 3, or as soon as they’re able to comfortably sit for an exam. These early appointments allow us to track growth and encourage healthy habits early on.
What steps should I take if I’m dealing with bad breath?
Bad breath commonly stems from plaque buildup, gum disease, or bacteria. Helpful steps include professional cleanings, tongue brushing, daily flossing with mouthwash, and limiting very spicy foods. If the issue persists, it may point to a deeper concern—schedule an appointment.
